THE THIN RED LINE (The Thin Red Line, 1998)

The script is based on the novel by James Jones, author of another novel made into a film and led to a great film: From here to eternity (From here to eternity, 1953). Both agree on a realistic, based on personal experiences of the author's own soldier, the army and the psychological burden of any war, in this case the World War II.
